Papers of George Oscar Ferguson, 1928-1955.

The papers include copies of articles by Ferguson from The University of Virginia Alumni News, 1947, and School and Society, 1933, and a copy of a 1931 speech given by Ferguson at the annual meeting of the Association of Virginia Colleges. Of interest is a series of letters, minutes and a report to the Board of Visitors re: the 1955 Committee to Select a President for Mary Washington College. In a series of letters, 1928, Ferguson corresponds with Frank A. Geldard re: Geldard's appointment as an Associate Professor of Psychology.
